History
• Medical Mission Group – Albay Cooperative was founded in October 1997 by Dr. Antonio Garcia, along with 19 idealist physicians and paramedics from the 3rd district of Albay, having Dr. Antonio Garcia as the 1st Chairman of the Board.
• Secondhand equipments were initially installed when the first laboratory was established at Garcia Memorial Hospital, Concepcion St., Dunao, Ligao City.
• On December 1998, the second diagnostic laboratory center and x-ray facility was opened in Tabaco City when 1st district doctors conceived the idea and concepts of cooperative through Dr. Garcia.
• The 3rd Clinical Laboratory with Radiology and Ultrasound services was established in 1999 in Daraga, Albay through membership of 2nd district doctors. Then it moved to its new site on February 2005 at the G/F AME Bldg., Rizal St., Old Albay District, Legazpi City to provide more access to clients.
• The 4th Diagnostic and X-ray Services was established in May 2004 at the Isip General Hospital in Gabon, Polangui, Albay due to growing demands for diagnostic services in areas of Oas, Polangui and Libon. Then it was moved to a new site last October 2012 at Ground Floor Samar Bldg., Gabon, Polangui, Albay, to gain proximity and accessibility to the clientele.
